The ideas I write about in my blog work for me, and made a difference in my teaching. Whether it’s a lesson plan for tomorrow, I hope I can help. For longterm classroom management strategies, I hope I can make a difference in your teaching. I hope I can take a little off your plate. I want to save you time and stress. This way, you can enjoy teaching.
Have you ever needed help with classroom management or lesson planning? Maybe you’re a new teacher, and you just have so many questions! Perhaps it’s after school hours, and you have no one to turn to. Or you could be the only teacher at your school teaching a particular subject and you have specific content questions. I’ve been there.
When I didn’t have awesome teacher friends, colleagues, and mentors to ask for advice, I turned to research. On the internet and in my teaching books, I found a lot of information on what to teach. They also explained why it is important to apply teaching techniques. It was somewhat helpful, but it always left me wondering: how do I teach this?
My goal with my blog is to offer real solutions, lesson ideas, and advice. Not only what knowledge students should be learning, but practical explanations so that you know how you can teach it.
